Warriors off to confident start at UIC indoor meet


Central won four events at Friday’s Upper Iowa Conference indoor meet, including a victory for senior Brandy Beatty in the 55-meter hurdles.

Moreland earns all-state recognition


Riley Moreland

MFL MarMac basketball player Riley Moreland has received all-state honors from two organizations. The Iowa Girls Coaches Association named the senior to its second team, while the Iowa Print Sports Writers Association placed her on its third team.
