High jump, sprints highlight UIC meet for Bulldogs

MFL MarMac boys earn pair of victories

Nick Krambeer shot a 41 for a share of second place in MFL MarMac’s win over Turkey Valley on May 1.

Joe Grau tied for second against the Trojans, after shooting a 41.

In the May 1 win over Turkey Valley, Quinn McGeough placed fourth with a 42.

A 40 earned Ben Krambeer medalist honors in MFL MarMac's meet against the Trojans.

Against Turkey Valley, Jonah Wille rounded out MFL MarMac’s varsity scores with a 51, which put him 10th.

Mallory Lang shot a 65 against the Blue Devils, putting her in the ninth position.

Mackenzie Bachman secured fourth place with a score of 55 in MFL MarMac's win against West Central last week.

With a 51, Bulldog freshman Devon Meyer was the runner-up in the meet versus the Blue Devils.

Maria Stavroplus has secured multiple top-five finishes in the high jump this season, including third place at Clayton Ridge on April 25.

Mel Ruff led the MFL MarMac sprinters with a ninth-place effort in the 100 at Clayton Ridge.

Central golfers continue to improve


Max Fettkether putts during the April 24 match versus MFL MarMac. He shot a 66 and finished 12th.

Tessa Sylvester hits a four-foot putt versus MFL MarMac. Sylvester finished the match sixth with a score of 64.

Brock Eglseder shot a 51 versus the Bulldogs and placed eighth.

Haley Frieden was the runner-up in Central's meet against MFL MarMac. She shot a 52.

Makayla Erickson finished fourth after shooting a 60 against the Bulldogs.

Another record-setting week for MFL MarMac boys golfers

Nick Krambeer’s 38 was a meet best score on April 27, when MFL MarMac took on West Central.

Sawyer Keehner finished the April 27 meet against the Blue Devils with a 45.

Jonah Wille shot a 40 and tied for third place in MFL MarMac's win over West Central.

Joe Grau turned in a 42 in the meet at Tri City Golf Course.

Ben Krambeer finished second in the meet against West Central, just a stroke off the top spot.

Warriors continue to be model of consistency in track and field events

Gracie Cummer was 16th, Alivia Wiley eighth, Madylen Gregerson 13th and Savannah Orr 14th in the 200 meter dash at MFL MarMac.

Savannah Orr placed 11th in the long jump at MFL MarMac.

Lexi Loan, Gracie Cummer, Madylen Gregerson and Taylor Moser made up Central's shuttle hurdle relay team that placed second in the meet at MFL MarMac.

Delaney Scherf won the 800-meter run at the April 27 meet in Monona.
