River Ridge Volleyball falls to Highland, sweeps Cassville

After starting off the season with three straight conference victories, coach Dianne Langmeier and her River Ridge volleyball team suffered their first league loss of the season last Tuesday night.

Taking host Highland down to the wire in four sets, the Timberwolves lost the match 3-1, despite winning the first set convincingly, 25-17.

Trailing the host Cardinals 13-4 in the first set, coach Langmeier’s Timberwolves came all the way back to claim a 25-17 victory.
