Kristina L. “Krissy” Colson

 

Kristina L. “Krissy” Colson, 23, of Eastman passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, July 7, after an extended illness. 

She was born Nov. 4, 1991 the daughter of Ronald “Butch” and Ruth (Martin) Colson. Krissy worked as a certified nursing assistant and belonged to the Eastman First Responders.

Mae A. Sprosty, 93, died Sunday, June 21, at Crest Health Care Center, Ridgecrest Village, Davenport, Iowa.

Mae Agnes Fisher was born May 16, 1922 in Eastman, the daughter of Thomas J. and Anna (Wagner) Fisher. She was united in marriage to Leonard W. Sprosty on June 15, 1943 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Eastman. They had shared over 60 years of marriage prior to Leonard’s death June 2, 2004.

Clifford “Cliff” Du Charme, of Baker, Mont., formerly of Prairie du Chien, passed away July 4, 2015.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 11 at 11 a.m. in Baker, Mont. Military rites will be accorded following services.

She was born 94 years ago on April 20, 1921 in Wauzeka, to Leslie and Mary Hazen.  Myra grew up in Wauzeka cultivating her love for family, cooking, dancing, reading, card games, history, and all things social.

Margaret Aileen Perample

 

Margaret Aileen Perample (Marousek), a long-time resident of Tustin, Calif., passed away on June 30. She was 83 years old.

Peggy was born Dec. 31, 1931 in Prairie du Chien, to Joseph and Margaret Marousek. She graduated from Prairie du Chien High School in 1949, and attended the nursing program at Marquette University for two years. Peggy married John Perample on Feb. 3, 1951 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Prairie du Chien.

Margaret J. Breuer

 

Margaret J. Breuer, 79, of Glen Haven, passed away Thursday, July 2, at Prairie Maison in Prairie du Chien.

 She was born on Dec. 22, 1935, the daughter of Edward and Frances (Crubel) Weber. Margaret married Burnell A. Breuer on Feb. 20, 1957. They lived and farmed near Glen Haven raising their family there until 1992 when they moved to Cassville. Margaret was a very caring and giving individual. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Glen Haven and later a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Cassville. Margaret loved keeping up with her family and their activities.

T. Jan Wiseman

 

T. Jan Wiseman, 74, of Salisbury, Md. and native of Patch Grove, went to be with the Lord on June 30, after a brief illness. He was the son of C. Edward and Gertrude Wiseman, who owned Patch Grove Creamery.

A 1959 graduate of Patch Grove High School, he was active in school including being a member of the school’s outstanding basketball team which compiled a record of 67-10 from 1956-59. Wiseman was active in the drama and music programs, as well. During his senior year, he formed a sports scores reporting network to the media in Cedar Rapids, Dubuque, Prairie du Chien, and Madison. He also wrote a sports column under the pseudonym of Hank Hawkins.

Julie Miller

 

Julie Miller passed into the arms of her Savior on June 28, at Meriter Hospital in Madison.

Born on Aug. 8, 1949 to Eugene and Donna Lind, she was the first of five children. Julie’s true calling was in the fabric of human relationships.

Thoughtful, caring and compassionate, Julie touched not only the lives of her immediate family but the extended community as well. You often hear about people who have great faith. Julie lived her faith, making sure everyone she touched felt the hand of God.
