William Francis Olinger, Esq., 76, of Sanibel, Fla. died Feb. 25, 2015 at Health Park Memorial Center, Fort Myers, Fla., after a short battle with lung cancer.
He was born on Sept. 16, 1938 in Waterloo, Iowa, a son of Ermin and Augusta (Schares) Olinger. He graduated from Sacred Heart High School, University of Iowa, class of 1960, University of Iowa School of Law, class of 1964 with a Juris Doctorate. He served in the Marine Corps. He was a founding partner of Olinger, Sosalla & McManus and later his own firm William F. Olinger P.C. He was inducted into the American Board of Trial Advocacy.
