New Guttenberg banners

Connie Backes and Austin Greve display the new banners that will soon go up in Guttenberg, replacing the banners that welcomed RAGBRAI bicyclists in 2014. The 38 new banners  will welcome visitors traveling along the highway and in the business district. The attractive new banners were purchased at a cost of approximately $3,300 by the local RAGBRAI committee, using remaining funds from that event. Greve and Backes were part of the original committee, which still meets periodically. (Press photo by Shelia Tomkins)
