The Prairie du Chien girls basketball team entered last week in the home stretch of their regular season schedule with a trio of games waiting for them.
First up for the Hawks was a home game last Tuesday, Jan. 27 against the Belleville Wildcats and it was the visiting Wildcats who came away as 54-31 victors.
PdC returned to the court three nights later as conference leading Lancaster came to town and it was all Flying Arrows as Lancaster defeated the Hawks 75-30.
Finally, the Hawks wrapped up their week this past Saturday afternoon on the road with their annual non-conference contest against the Barneveld Eagles. The Eagles defeated the Hawks 67-44.
Stats for all three games were not available at the time of this article was being written as the Hawks fell to 3-13 overall and 1-6 in the SWC with the losses.
Prairie du Chien travels to Dodgeville this Thursday night before returning home two nights later to host Wauzeka-Steuben as part of a doubleheader with the boys team.
