April 15, 1934–January 17, 2026

Phyllis M. Foley, age 91 of Eastman, passed away Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026, at home with family. 

She was born on April 15, 1934, to Paul and Tekla (Spalla) DuCharme. She married Pat Foley on Sept. 17, 1951, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Eastman. She raised 9 children and later worked as a cook at Seneca Schools from 1976 to 1998. Phyllis enjoyed being with her family, sewing, traveling, reading, and playing Scrabble. Her husband Pat preceded her in death on Oct. 30, 2010, after 59 years of marriage. She is survived by her children Karen (Mat) Martin, Lori (Marty) Busch, Donna Foley, Nick Foley, Chris (Lori) Foley, Jan (Vince) Martin, Denise (Rick) Geiwitz, and Alan (Tammy) Foley; daughter-in-law Cheryl Foley; sisters-in-law Marjorie Watters, Pat DuCharme, Christine Foley, and Rose Krachey; 24 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren; and special neighbor William Sprosty. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son David; son Steve Foley; siblings Eldon, Cletus, and Elaine DuCharme; and grandsons Kent and Tom Foley.     

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Jan. 31, at 11 a.m. at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel in Prairie du Chien, Fr. Thomas Huff officiating with burial in the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Seneca. 

Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Gays Mills Food Pantry in Gays Mills or the Coulee Cap Food Pantry in Prairie du Chien. The Garrity Funeral Home of Prairie du Chien is assisting the family.
