The Prairie du Chien/Wauzeka-Steuben/Youth Initiative Boys Soccer team faced a busy schedule late last week with four games in three games taking place.
First up for the Hawks was a conference rematch at home with Richland Center last Thursday evening. The Hawks took a 2-1 lead at halftime before out scoring the Hornets 3-2 in the second half to claim a 5-3 victory. PdC was back at home the following night to host La Crosse Logan. The two teams entered halftime tied 1-1 before the Hawks out scored the Rangers 2-1 in the second half to earn the 3-2 win. The week concluded this past Saturday at the Richland Center Triangular as the Hawks dropped their two matches on the day to Madison Country Day/Abundant Life/Saint Ambrose 7-0 and Richland Center 5-1 to drop their overall record to 5-5 on the season.
The Hawks tri-op was at River Valley this past Tuesday night before traveling this Friday evening to the Fields for Kids location on the north side of La Crosse to face the La Crosse Central Riverhawks.
