Golfers third at Lancaster meet

The Prairie du Chien Girls Golf team traveled to Lancaster last Thursday, Sept. 4 for the fourth SWC meet of the regular season and came back with a third place finish with a team score of 192. This was the third time the Hawks finished third out of four SWC meets so far this season, but the 192 was the team’s best score so far this season.

PdC was led individually by Elisia Wynos, who tied for fourth place with a score of 44. Camryn Knapp finished in a tie for eighth place with a 47, with Hannah Fritsche (10th place with a 48) and Stephanie Welter (15th place with a 53) rounding out the Hawks scoring.

Prairie du Chien returns to Lancaster this Thursday for a quad meet with Lancaster, Darlington and Cuba City/Benton/Southwestern. Golfing begins at 4:00 p.m.
