PdC boys golf at home, Platteville meets

The Prairie du Chien Boys Golf team welcomed Cuba City/Benton/Southwestern, Fennimore and Richland Center to the Prairie du Chien Country Club last Tuesday, April 15, for the Hawks first home meet of the season.
Prairie du Chien finished the quadrangular meet with a team score of 217 to place third as a team with Owen Achenbach leading the way with a score of 46. He was followed by Keaton Achenbach (54), Tyler Steiber (56), Brock Folsom (61) and Porter Kossman (62). The Cuba City co-op won the meet with a team score of 167 while Ben Thill of CC/B/SW was medalist with a score of 36.
The Hawks traveled to Platteville this past Saturday for the annual Dick McKichan Invitational and placed 12th out of 15 teams with a team score of 391. Once again it was Owen (89) and Keaton (95) Achenbach leading the way for Prairie du Chien. They were followed by Folsom (102), Steiber (105) and Kossman (130).
Following a JV meet on April 24 at the Prairie du Chien Country Club, the Hawks will be back in competition on Saturday, May 3 at the House on the Rock Golf Course at 9 a.m. for the River Valley Invitational.
