The Prairie du Chien Girls Golf team traveled to Lancaster last Thursday for a meet and came back with a second place team finish with a score of 202.
The Hawks finished just six shots behind first place Southwestern/Cuba City/Benton. PdC was led by Hannah Fritsche in fourth place with a score of 47, while Irelynd Cejka was sixth with a 51. Finishing in a tie for seventh with a score of 52 was Elisia Wynos and Camryn Knapp, while Rita Achenbach was 14th with a 57.
Prairie du Chien traveled to Cuba City on Monday afternoon for the final SWAL-SWC Meet of the regular season and finished tied with the Southwestern Co-op for second place with a score of 195, twelve shots behind first place Wisconsin Dells.
Knapp tied for fourth place individually with a 47 to lead the Hawks. She was followed by Cejka and Fritsche tied for ninth place with scores of 49, Wynos in 11th with a score of 50 and Stephanie Welter in a tie for 17th place with a 59.
Prairie du Chien is now off until the SWAL-SWC Conference Championship meet in Lancaster on September 25.
