The Prairie du Chien Waterhawks concluded their 2024 season on Saturday by traveling to Mineral Point for the Southwest Wisconsin Swim Conference Meet.

The Waterhawks placed third out of seven teams with a combined score of 859.50 points. The boys team placed third with 436.50 points, while the girls team was fifth with 423 points.

Earning top three individual finishes (and a conference medal) at the meet were the following Waterhawk swimmers - 

Girls 11-12 200 SC Meter Medley Relay - Second -  Ava Stark, Bay Kimbler, Raegan McClendon and Elouise Igou in a time of 2:53.88.

Boys 11-12 200 SC Meter Medley Relay - Second - Evan Hurda, Amory Blackburn, Brycen Sondreal and Trevor Hurda in a time of 3:37.22.

Boys 13-14 200 SC Meter Medley Relay - Second - Matthew Kramer, Kye Higgins and Ryder Dull in a time of 2:50.51.

Boys 8 & Under 25 SC Meter Freestyle - Second - Nash Hubanks (14.00).

Boys 8 & Under 25 SC Meter Backstroke - Second - Hubanks (19.25).

Boys 9-10 25 SC Meter Backstroke - Third - Jordan Sondreal (16.32).

Boys 8 & Under 25 SC Meter Butterfly - Third - Nolan McClendon (18.19).

Girls 11-12 50 SC Meter Butterfly - First - Raegan McClendon (37.53).

Boys 8 & Under 50 SC Meter Freestyle - First - Hubanks (30.21).

Girls 11-12 100 SC Meter Freestyle - Third - Igou (1:22.63).

Boys 8 & Under 25 SC Meter Breaststroke - First - N. McClendon (19.02) and Third - Owen Campbell (20.41).

Girls 9-10 25 SC Meter Breaststroke - Second - Ava Stark (15.59).

Boys 9-10 25 SC Meter Breaststroke - First - Amory Blackburn (14.94).

Girls 11-12 200 SC Meter Freestyle Relay - Second - Igou, M. Campbell, Lily Mathies and Bronwyn Campbell in a time of 2:33.69.

Boys 11-12 200 SC Meter Freestyle Relay - Third - B. Sondreal, E. Hurda, T. Hurda and A. Blackburn in a time of 3:11.59.

Girls 13-14 200 SC Meter Freestyle Relay - Third - Emma Redman, A. Martin, Katelyn Mathies and Lyla Redman in a time of 2:37.22.

Boys 13-14 200 SC Meter Freestyle Relay - Second - Dull, Higgins and M. Kramer in a time of 2:32.31.

Girls 15-18 200 SC Meter Freestyle Relay - Third - Chaya Blackburn, Brooklynn Griffin and Maria Stravoplus in a time of 2:33.78.
