Cindy Lou Kirchner
Cindy Lou Kirchner of Aloha, Ore., passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024. Cindy was born on Dec. 6, 1951 to Kenny and Jackie (Ferguson) Lamb in Prairie du Chien, Wis.
Cindy graduated from Mar-Mac High School in 1970. Cindy went to airline school and graduated to become an airline stewardess.
Cindy moved to Santa Barbara, Calif., where she met the love of her life, Allen Kirchner. They wed on Oct. 22, 1971. They had two sons, Tom and Kenny.
Cindy and Allen moved to Aloha, Ore., and both worked for the Beaverton School District (Portland). Cindy worked in their print shop department for over 22 years. Allen worked there too, doing locksmithing for all the schools. They both also worked four hours twice a week on the side cleaning offices at the high school.
Cindy was also given a class full of teenagers whom other teachers couldn’t handle in a detention class. She did a wonderful job with them and was very well liked by her students. She helped them with life skills and how to cope with life’s issues.
Cindy was preceded in death by her husband Allen, her parents and niece Regina Scarff.
Cindy is survived by two sisters, Christy (Esteban) Armendariz and Candy Lamb (grandkids Sheree, Kelvin, Benjamin and Isaac), both of McGregor; four grandchildren, Kelsie, Haley, Sydney and Chloe; two sons, Tom (Julie) Kirchner and Kenny (Carrie) Kirchner.
There will be no funeral service.
