Hall repeats as SWC Player of the Year, seven Prairie Softball players named All-Conference

Prairie du Chien senior Scout Hall was named Player of the Year by the Southwest Wisconsin Conference for a second consecutive season. Six other teammates joined her on the 2024 SWC Softball All-Conference list.

Joining Hall on the first team were junior Irelynd Cejka and freshman Claire Kennedy.

Named to the SWC’s second team were senior Emma Abram and junior Rita Achenbach.

Earning honorable mention selections was senior Reagan Hannah and freshman Camryn Knapp.

Head coach Liz Steiner-Hall was named Co-SWC Coach of the Year with River Valley’s Jane Briehl.

Prairie du Chien softball won their first conference championship since 1989 and the first in the SWC with an 8-2 record, one game ahead of second place River Valley. The Hawks also appeared in the regional championship game for a third consecutive season.
