Scott D. Schroeder
Scott Daniel Schroeder, 62, of Greeley, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family.
Visitation was Friday, May 17, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Edgewood and before services at the church.
Funeral services were Saturday, May 18, at St. John Congregational Church in Garber, conducted by Pastor Pete Buschmann.
Interment was at Mt. Harmony, Garber.
Scott was born on March 17, 1962, in Guttenberg, the son of Hermie and Janet (Willie) Schroeder. Scott was raised and educated in Guttenberg and was a 1981 graduate of Guttenberg High School.
Scott was married and then divorced. Three amazing daughters, Jami, Heidi, and Amber were born to this union. On June 6, 2015, Scott was united in marriage to his best friend, Ronda Ross. They resided outside of Elkport before moving to Greeley. Scott worked many factory jobs, the latest was at Stanley Black and Decker. He also always had his hands involved in farming.
Scott enjoyed playing cards, hunting, and fishing. He helped Combat Vets 39-3 and enjoyed a cold one. Scott enjoyed spending time with family and his friends.
Survivors include his loving wife, Ronda Schroeder of Greeley; parents, Janet and Hermie Schroeder of Garber; children, Jami (Nate) Dixon of Wadena, Heidi (Rodney) Glawe of St. Olaf, and Amber (Wes) Schmitt of Elkader, Christina Forsythe of Alabama, Samantha (Brandon) Bailey of Colesburg, and Zach Ross of Garber; grandchildren, Shawn Jr., Malina, and Braxton Kuhse, Marissa, Landon, Brylie, and Ariella Glawe, Skyler and Nixon Schmitt, Carter, Connor, Canton, and Collin Bailey; one brother, Danny (Nancy) Schroeder of Guttenberg; his godson, Andy (Alicia) Schroeder of Guttenberg; and numerous other family and friends.
Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilbert and Nelda Willie and Clarence and Irene Schroeder.
