Prairie Track teams compete at Platteville, Cuba City and La Crosse during busy week

The Prairie du Chien Track team was on the road last week for three meets in five days.
First up for the Hawks was a trip to Platteville on Tuesday evening for a mini-SWC meet. No team scores were kept, but placing in the top three for the Hawks were the Boys 4x100 Meter Relay team of Zeke Hoffman, Adrian Morales, Nicolas Fiskaali and Darian Jackson, which earned a second place finish in a time of 52.89.
The Hawks were back on the road two nights later when they traveled to Cuba City for the annual Christopher Becker Memorial Invite and came away with a pair of third place team finishes. The Prairie Boys scored 73 points, while the girls team scored 61 points.
Earning top three finishes for the boys team were the following Hawks:
High Jump - First - Tyler Harris (5-08.00).
Long Jump - First - Jackson Perkins (19-10.00).
Shot Put - First - Max Schneider (47-08.00).
The girls team got top three finishes from these Hawks:
100 Meter Dash - Third - Madi Fisher (13.21).
200 Meter Dash - First - Fisher (27.46).
300 Meter Hurdles - First - Tannah Radloff (47.67). Radloff’s time broke the meet record of 47.79 set in 2009 by Cuba City’s Katie Langmeier.
4x100 Meter Relay - Second - Greenlee Krahn, Fisher, Karly Kramer and Radloff (52.14).
4x200 Meter Relay - Third - Krahn, Jayden Henderson, Taia Dressler and K. Kramer (1:56.36).
The Hawks ended the week on Saturday by traveling to UW-La Crosse to compete in the annual Knights of Columbus Relays. The event features teams from around Wisconsin and Minnesota, including large schools such as Franklin, Hayward and Winona Senior in one division.
The Prairie boys finished twelfth out of 19 teams with 22 points, while the Prairie girls were eleventh with 24 points.
Leading the way for Prairie on the boys side was junior Hunter Straka. Straka won the Long Jump with a jump of 21-06.75. Senior Max Schneider added a third place finish for the Hawks in the Shot Put with a throw of 46-10.50.
On the girls side, the 4x100 Meter Relay team of Krahn, Fisher, K. Kramer and Radloff placed second with a time of 52.39.
Also placing second was the 4x400 Meter Relay team of Fisher, Josie Kramer, Karly Kramer and Radloff in a time of 4:20.11.
The Hawks attended the Fennimore Invite on Monday and went to Lancaster for another SWC meet last night before going to Spring Green on Friday for the River Valley Alumni Invitational.
