Randy L. Hansel, 70, of Peoria, Ill., died peacefully in his sleep at The Loft on March 26, 2024. 

 

He was interior design manager at Bergner’s Dept. Store. He retired when the store closed. 

 

He was son of Paul Richard and Marginell Hansel of Elkader, who, along with sister Tracy Kemling, preceded him in death. He is survived by an older sister, Diane Josephson, her husband Robert and son Andrew of Marshall, Wis. 

 

Randy lived his life through his heart. Funny to the end. He will be missed by many.
