May 21, 1951–March 7, 2024

Delose Goodrich, age 72, of Prairie du Chien, Wisc., formerly of Eastman, Wisc., passed away Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Mayo Health in La Crosse, Wisc., surrounded by his family.

He was born in Lancaster, Wisc., on May 21, 1951, the son of Roy and Bonnie Goodrich. Delose graduated from Prairie du Chien High School with the class of 1970. 

Delose married Sandy Nagel on May 27, 1972. Delose and Sandy made their home in Prairie du Chien and later Eastman. Delose worked for Design Homes in Prairie du Chien before establishing his life-long business, operating Eastman Salvage for 42 years. Later working at the Memorial Hospital and Crossing Rivers Health before his retirement. 

Delose’s wife Sandy preceded him in death on Nov. 21, 1999.

Delose is survived by his life partner, Dee Dee Muilenburg of 24 years from Prairie du Chien; two sons, Kelly of Madison, Wisc., and Kurt (Jenny) of Eastman; mother, Bonnie Goodrich of Prairie du Chein; brother, Glen (Liz) of Prairie du Chien; grandchildren, Ethan, Dayton, Hunter, Hannah, Cory, Chelsea, Cassandra, and Cheyanne; along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and extended family.

Delose was preceded in death by his wife, Sandy; father, Roy Goodrich; and in laws, Lester and Christie Nagel; and stepmother in-law, Nina Nagel.

Delose was always willing to help anyone in need and will be fondly remembered for his humor and quick wit.

There will be a private family service. A Celebration of Life for Delose will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 1-4 p.m. at Huckleberry’s, 1916 S. Marquette Rd., in Prairie du Chien.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family.
