February 3, 2005–February 19, 2024

 

Ryan D. Beisner, age 19 of McGregor, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Feb. 19, 2024. He was born in Prairie du Chien on Feb. 3, 2005, the son of Robert Beisner and Nicole (Anderson) Hammel. 

 

 

Ryan grew up going to school at MFL Mar-Mac and later graduated from Postville High School with the class of 2023. He then went to work at the 3M Company in Prairie du Chien. 

Ryan enjoyed videogames, driving around in the car with friends, learning military history, and drawing airplanes and tanks. He especially loved his family and never missed an opportunity to joke around with them. Ryan’s cat, Hiccup, held a special place in his heart. 

He is survived by his parents Robert (Tabatha Bohland) Beisner and Nicole (Jake) Hammel; siblings Megan Beisner, Marissa Anderson, and Jessica Beisner; paternal grandmother Donna Clarke and maternal grandparents Greg (Beth) Mezera; niece Layla and stepsiblings Gage and Drake Bohland, Sebastian and Caleb Hammel, and Christian and Cameron Wentz, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather David Anderson and paternal grandfathers Christopher Beisner and Leonard Clarke. 

A Memorial Mass of Resurrection was held on Monday, Feb. 26 at 11 a.m. at St. Gabriel’s Church of the Holy Family Parish, Msgr. Charles Stoetzel officiating with inurnment in the Calvary Cemetery, both in Prairie du Chien.
