Elijah (Eli) Robert Manuel, 20, of McGregor, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2023. He was born Aug. 22, 2003, in Colorado Springs, Colo. 

 

Eli graduated from Doherty High School in 2021. He was employed as a welder at Astec, in Prairie du Chien, Wis. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, playing video games, watching Anime, riding his four-wheeler and spending time with his best friends.

 

He is survived by his parents, Allison (Rick) Thomas of McGregor and James (Mary) Manuel of Colorado Springs, Colo.; half-brother Milo Manuel; grandmothers, Linda Witter of Monona and Linda Manuel of Albuquerque, N.M.; and his many aunts, uncles and cousins.

 

Eli was preceded in death by his beloved grandfather, Roger Witter, and great-grandmother, Adeline Hammel.

 

A celebration of life will be held this summer, date to be determined.

Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service of McGregor is assisting the family with arrangements.
