Prairie girls extend new winning streak to three with 62-21 win over River Valley

Entering a stretch where they only play one game in a span of 15 days, the Prairie du Chien girls basketball team were able to avoid any rust with a decisive 62-21 win over the River Valley Blackhawks on Tuesday, Dec. 12.
The PdC Hawks built a 30-13 lead at halftime before limiting River Valley to just eight second half points as they pulled away for 62-21 win.
Tannah Radloff scored a game-high 17 points to lead Prairie while also collecting 7 steals, 5 assists, and 5 rebounds. Tessa Czajkowski Higgins was not too far behind Radloff with 15 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals of her own. Karly Kramer added 13 points and 7 rebounds, while Greenlee Krahn (9 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals), Claire Kennedy (6 points), and Rita Achenbach (2 points) rounded out the scoring for Prairie.
PdC moved to 5-3 overall and 2-1 in the SWC, while River Valley fell to 1-7 overall, and 1-2 in the SWC.
The Hawks are back in action on Friday, Dec. 22 when they host Westby.
