Prairie du Chien’s Blake Thiry named Honorable Mention All-State by Wisconsin Associated Press

Prairie du Chien junior Blake Thiry was recently named Honorable Mention All-State for the 2023 season by the Wisconsin Associated Press. Thiry was named Honorable Mention All-Purpose on offense.
Thiry is the first Prairie du Chien Football player named to the All-State team by the AP since Zach Thornton in 2011. He also joins Mat Peterson in 2001 as the only PdC players named All-State by both the AP and the WFCA in the same season.
Thiry is also the first PdC player to be named to the AP All-State team as a junior since Larry Teynor and Jim Waller in 1961. Here is a list of every Prairie du Chien football player selected by the Wisconsin Associated Press over the years:
