Ballot summary for Nov. 7 school, city election

Clayton County voters will go to the polls on Tuesday, Nov. 7, to choose candidates for school and municipal offices.
Following is a summary of the ballot information that appeared in the Oct. 18 issue for contests in The Press readership area.
Clayton Ridge
School board
Ellen Johnson is the lone candidate to fill a vacancy on the board for a two-year term.
Six candidates are vying for four seats on the school board for four-year terms: Shelly Mommer, Sam Brandt, Thomas Pierce, Hunter Koth, Michelle Mertens-Dodgen and Daniel Kregel.
NICC board
John Finley is the lone candidate for a seat on the Northeast Iowa Community College board from District 5.
City of Guttenberg
Incumbents Austin Greve and Jane Parker are running for two open seats on the city council.
There are three candidates for three seats on the hospital board of trustees: Alicia Walke, Bill Allyn and Austin Coon.
North Buena Vista: For mayor, Alan Breitbach; for five city council seats, Robert Ludovissy, Pam Breitbach, Diane Ludovissy, Ken Ludovissy and James Gordon.
Garber: For mayor, Nioka Schroeder; for five city council seats, R. Lyle Schroeder, Leroy Dugan, Edward Van Lennep, Alicia Van Lennep and Ronnie E. Wille.
Clayton: Running for mayor is Kaitlyn Kuehl-Berns. Candidates for five city council seats are Toni Schultz, Nichole Michels, Tom Brandel, Dixie Connell and Kimberly Kuehl.
Elkport: No one filed for the mayor's seat or for three open seats on the council.
Osterdock: No one filed for the mayor's position or for five open seats on the city council.
