Two Bulldog volleyball players earn honorable mention status

Ella Corlett

Mallory Lang

MFL MarMac volleyball players Ella Corlett and Mallory Lang are both Upper Iowa all-conference honorable mention selections. 

 

Corlett, a senior middle hitter, started all 24 matches, leading the team with 118 kills. She also had the Bulldogs’ best kill efficiency, at .187. 

 

Corlett added a team-high 13 blocks—10 solo and three assists—defensively as well as 32 digs. From the service line, her 90.1 percent efficiency was one of the best among regular starters, and 22 aces ranked her fourth on the team.

 

Lang, also a senior, led MFL MarMac with 160 assists over 24 matches, and she contributed 10 kills. Defensively, she totaled 68 digs, which was fourth among Bulldogs players. 

 

Like Corlett, Lang was one of the team’s top servers, earning an 88 percent success rate and 23 aces.
