Billie E. Smith, 88, passed peacefully on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.

Visitation was Saturday, June 17, at Morris Funeral Home in Guttenberg.

Inurnment was at Bethel Cemetery in Colesburg with military honors accorded by the Guttenberg Legion Post #0373 and Amvets Post 15. 

Billie was born on Jan. 1, 1935, to Ferman and Berdina (Schrunk) Smith.

Billie worked a majority of his life for Wright Tree Service. 

He served in the Army, stationed in Alaska. He was an Amvets member and a Charter member of the Eagles Club.

Billie loved going to auctions, garage sales and wheeling and dealing for the best deals.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Deb (Mark) Reardon, Peggy (Mike) Wolfe, Roger Smith, and Randy (Rachel) Smith; grandchildren, Scott, Heather, Clay (Dar), Bill, Tony, Tim (Nikki), Leah (Michael), and Nathan; 13 great-grandchildren, and many relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sheila and sister, Donna (John) Conley.
