Jeffrey Paul Ferguson, 39, of McGregor, Iowa passed away Sunday October 23, 2022. 

He was born May 5, 1983 in Prairie du Chien, to Starr and Damon “Joe” Ferguson. Jeff was the proud loving father of Sophia and Ainslea, and raised Braelyn as his own. Jeff was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and a collector of sports cards, especially, Brett Favre. He was loved by many that knew him and was known for his smile, his beautiful blue eyes and making people laugh. Jeff will be greatly missed by his family and friends. 

Surviving Jeff are his daughters, Sophia Rose Valley of Prairie du Chien, and Ainslea Lynn Ferguson of Lancaster; his mother and step-father, Starr and Jaime Lortie of McGregor, Iowa; his father and step-mother, Damon “Joe” and Dana Ferguson of McGregor, Iowa; sisters, Heather (John) Silvers of Prairie du Chien and Sarah (Cody) NeCollins of Boscobel; brothers, Chad (Randi) Ferguson on Mineral Point, Wisconsin, Joseph (Rebecca) Ferrel of Antigo, and Seth (Shelby) Ferrel of Prairie du Chien; grandmother, Mary Jane Ferguson of Guttenberg, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews. 

Jeff was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruth Bradley, Delbert Ferguson, and James and Evelyn Baker; great-grandparents, Edith McCauley and Maude Ferguson; and his aunt, Jackie Baker.

A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2022 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Backwoods in McGregor, Iowa. In lieu of flowers a monetary donation would be greatly appreciated, this will go to Jeff’s daughters. Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service of McGregor, Iowa is assisting the family with arrangements.
