Division 2

In Division 2, the Prairie du Chien girls 4x400 relay team of Teagan Radloff, Madi Fisher, Shayla Straka and Tannah Radloff took eighth in a time of 4:11.71. The team earned 1 point.

The Prairie du Chien girls 4x100 relay team of Kori Jaynes, Madi Fisher, Emma Wall and Taia Dressler was 15th in the preliminaries in 51.4. The team did not reach the finals.

Wheelchair

Prairie du Chien’s Bree Doll was fourth in the 100-meter dash wheelchair in a time of 28.71 for 5 points. Doll was fourth in the 400 in 1:39.90 for 5 points. Doll was fourth in the 800 in 3:41.18 for 5 points.

Division 3

In Division 3, Seth Breuer of River Ridge tied for third in the pole vault at 13-0 for 5.5 team points.

Seth Bunders of Wauzeka-Steuben was second in the 400 in 50.19 for 8 team points.

Lucius Cooley of Wauzeka-Steuben was seventh in the 110 high hurdles in 15.97 for 2 points. Cooley was sixth in the 300 hurdles in 40.47 for 3 points.

River Ridge was 15th in the preliminaries of the boys 4x200 relay in 1:35.65 (Seth Breuer, Bryy Clark, Owen Hamilton, Aidan Gage). The team did not reach the finals.

Aidan Gage was 14th in the preliminaries of the 100 in 11.47. He did not reach the finals.

Shayna Graf of River Ridge was eighth in the shot put at 36-10.5 for 1 point. Graf was 12th in the discus at 99-5.

River Ridge Coach Shane Sperle said that Seth Breuer is the first boy for River Ridge to earn a state medal since Tom Osterday in the 100M and Kevin Christian in the 300 hurdles medaled at state in 2012.

Seth was also named Academic All State this season.

“Seth has put a lot of hours into his vaulting outside of the school hours and it is nice to see his hard work and commitment pay off at the state level,” said Sperle.

Shayna Graf of River Ridge also did well as did Aidan Gage and the boys relay team.

“Shayna was one of six girls in all of D3 to make it to state in the shot and discus. She joined Skylar White as our only girl to score any points at the state level since 2002,” said Sperle. “She was throwing her best at the end of the season and has a bright future for us.”

“Aidan had a great season, qualifying for state in two events. He missed the triple jump by a quarter inch also,” said Sperle. “Not many athletes go to state in the 3200 relay one year and then turn around the next year to make it in the 100M. That shows the versatility the young man has.”

“The boys (4x200 relay) ran a good race at state and freshman Bryy Clark did a great job filling in for Ricardo Barrita in the relay for us,” Sperle said. “Owen Hamilton got better all season and ran his best at sectionals and state.  Seth and Aidan ran great splits in the relay at state.  We are very pleased with their season and happy they got a chance to run at La Crosse.”
