Richard A. Seehase

Richard Allen Seehase, 71, of Guttenberg, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022.
Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester assisted the family with arrangements.
Dick was born on April 3, 1951, in Sumner, the son of Arnold and Berdine (Lampe) Seehase. Dick was raised in the Sumner area and was a 1969 graduate of Sumner High School.
Dick was united in marriage to Sherry Lease. Two children were born to this union. The couple later divorced. On Jan. 3, 2015, Dick was married to Mary (Maiers) Phillabaum. The couple resided together on Abel Island in Guttenberg. Dick was the founder of Seehase Masonry and Concrete in Sumner. After his retirement, he worked for Ole’s 5 Star Realty.
Dick enjoyed boating, fishing and four-wheeling. He never took for granted the view of the river. Dick always enjoyed being in the company of friends and their dog, Max.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Seehase of Guttenberg; his two children, Mark (Christi) Seehase of Sumner and Kim (Chad) Beals of Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.; six grandchildren, Macy, Mia, Carson, Camryn, Branson, and Gavin; one step-daughter, Nicole (Joel) Kluesner of Dundee; three step-grandchildren, Eva, Clay, and Grace; and his siblings, Regina (Jim) Gann of Waynesville, N.C., Ron (Sharon) Seehase of Waverly, Randy (Gail) Seehase of Louisville, Ky., Roxanne Foreman of Omaha, Neb., and Robert (Mary Jo) Seehase of Carlsbad, Calif.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents.
