Prairie’s Justice Olmstead scores down low against visiting Dodgeville.

Dodgeville defeated host Prairie du Chien 66-61 in an SWC boys basketball matchup Thursday night, Jan. 27.

The Dodgers took the first half 37-28, but the Blackhawks outscored the Dodgers 33-29 in the second half.

Max Amundson pumped in 17 points for Prairie. Owen Oldenburg scored 16 and Quintin Scott added 15.

Dodgeville improved to 13-3 overall and 5-0 in the SWC. Prairie went to 3-13 on the season and 1-4 in the conference.

Prairie will next host Platteville on Feb. 4.
