Wauzeka-Steuben girls defeat Seneca

Wauzeka-Steuben defeated visiting Seneca 68-40 in a Ridge and Valley girls basketball game Friday night.

Wauzeka-Steuben built a 39-13 halftime advantage en route to the victory. The game was tighter in the second half with Wauzeka-Steuben taking the second half 29-27.

Bryonna Caya led Seneca with 13 points. Kylie Chambers added 8 and Kendra Chambers netted 7.

The Lady Hornets improved to 3-1 on the season and 1-0 in conference play. Seneca went to 1-2 overall and 0-1 in the Ridge and Valley. 

Wauzeka-Steuben will next travel to Ithaca on Dec. 9. 

Seneca will next travel to Kickapoo on Dec. 9.
