Minutes for Regular Meeting

June 14, 2021

The Prairie du Chien Board of Education met on June 14, 2021 at Prairie du Chien High School PAAC. Lonnie Achenbach called the meeting to order at 6:32 p.m. Board members present:  Lonnie Achenbach, Nick Gilberts, Cassie Hubanks, Lynn O’Kane, Tom Peterson-in at 6:34 p.m., Michael Higgins, Jr., and Dustin Brewer.  

Motion by Higgins, Jr. and seconded by Hubanks to accept the Agenda. Passed unanimously.

Motion by O’Kane and seconded by Gilberts to approve Consent Agenda Items but move Full-Time and Part-Time Custodian Positions to next board meeting. Passed unanimously.

Motion by Higgins, Jr. and seconded by Hubanks to approve 2021-2022 Open Enrollment Applications. Passed unanimously.

Motion by Brewer and seconded by O’Kane to approve WIAA 2021-2022 Membership Renewal. Passed unanimously.

Motion by Gilberts and seconded by O’Kane to approve WASB 2021-2022 Membership Renewal. Passed unanimously.

Motion by Gilberts and seconded by Hubanks to approve Annual Seclusion Restraint Report. Passed unanimously.

Motion by Gilberts and seconded by Higgins, Jr. to approve purchase of Facility Manager Pro. Passed 6-1, Peterson opposed.

Motion by Higgins, Jr. and seconded by Gilberts to go into Closed Session at 7:13 p.m. to discuss Personnel and Bussing Contract. Passed unanimously.

Motion by Higgins, Jr. and seconded by Gilberts to return to Open Session at 7:59 p.m. Passed unanimously.

Motion by Higgins, Jr. and seconded by Gilberts to adjourn meeting at 8:00 p.m. Passed unanimously. Meeting Adjourned.
