Kim Alan Cliff, 66, of Bloomington, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster.  

He was born Feb. 14, 1955, the son of Dorland and Joanne (First) Cliff in Prairie du Chien. Kim graduated from Prairie du Chien High School. He was employed at Southwest Opportunity Center in Lancaster. He enjoyed his work and took pride in performing a good job in what he was doing. Kim was extremely outgoing and always made a friend. He enjoyed traveling and was able to go on numerous vacations with his family. Kim was an avid sports fan. He attended as many Bloomington sporting events as he was able. He watched baseball, football and basketball. It didn’t matter if it was local, collegiate, or professional, Kim enjoyed all sports. He had an amazing ability to remember game scores and player statistics. Kim participated in Special Olympics and excelled in karate, where he earned his black belt. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends, but is now in heaven where the Packers always win and the Brewers never lose. 

He is survived by his father, Dorland; siblings, Linda (Chester) Hilton, Kerry (Mary Lou) Cliff, Tamie (Gary) Uting, Becky (Jeff) Roskos, and Jan (Tanya) Cliff. He is further survived by 15 nieces and nephews; 10 great-nieces and great-nephews; aunts, Rita (Duane) Amundson, Juanita Drew, Linda Young; and several cousins.  

He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Joanne; two uncles, Jerry and Richard First; aunt, Marlene (William) Steiner; and cousins, Russell and Karl Steiner.  

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bloomington, with Father John Meinholz officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Bloomington. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the church. Please practice social distancing and wear proper face coverings. Martin Schwartz Funeral Home and Crematory, in Bloomington, is assisting the family.
