PdC cross country runs first meet of year

Ava Hager, Ella Hager and Teagan Radloff follow each other.

The Prairie du Chien cross country team competed at the Lancaster Triangular Tuesday.

 

Boys:

Spencer DeHart picked up a nice solid 13th place on the night against some tough competition. Max Anthony ran his way to a 19th place and Bryce Priebe was right behind him with a 21st place. Ryan Waller popped a nice 23rd place with Corbin Reade following him with a 31st place. Chase Kozelka ran his first varsity meet and finished with a 34th place. The boys finished in 3rd place.

 

Girls:

In the evening, Meg Katzung picked up a 4th place finish against some tough competition. Alyssa Straka, making a comeback from two years of injuries, hammered out an 11th place with Ava Hager right behind her running in at 13th place. Josie Kramer, running her first varsity meet, picked up a well deserved 16th place and Jadyn Jenks ran herself to a 23rd place. Ella Hager, only 11 seconds behind Jenks, brought home 24th place. Rounding out the top 7 was Kate Olson snagging 26th place. Teagan Radloff, only 2 seconds behind Olson, came in 27th place with Eowyn Earle picking up 28th place. Sadie Torgerson picked up 29th, Shayla Straka ran herself to 31st place and Payton Key rounded out the team with 38th place. The girls finished the night in second place as a team.

 

The next meet is Sept. 17 at LaRiviere Park in a dual with Platteville.
