June D. Sutton, 63, of Prairie du Chien, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2020, at Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie du Chien.

 She was born on July 3, 1956, in Prairie du Chien, the daughter of Christian and Retha (Cathman) Schnitzler. 

She attended West Grant High School in Patch Grove. June married Ronald Sutton on July 24, 1986, at the Redeemer Lutheran Church in New Hampton, Iowa. She was employed by the 3M Company in Prairie du Chien for 42 years. June enjoyed sewing, embroidery, watching cooking and remodeling shows, crafts, and most of all, spending time with her family. 

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Ron; her children, Melanie (Anthony) Krueger, Jordan (Nicole) and Clarke (Danyelle) Sutton; step-children, David (Rhonda) Sutton and Amy (Aaron) Baum; grandchildren, Mason, Carter, Harper, Lilly, Gracie, Landry, Hailey, Hunter, Ben, and Joe; brothers, Fay (Raleen) and Lindy (Linda) Schnitzler; sister, LaVonne Clanton; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, Gary Clanton.

A public visitation will be on Tuesday, June 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel in Prairie du Chien. A private family funeral will follow with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery in Prairie du Chien.
