Crawford County’s latest dairy princess crowned
The 2019 Crawford County Dairy Princess Regan Kramer was crowned by Rachel Kramer, who served as 2018 Crawford County Dairy Princess along with Caitlin Nolan.

A well-attended Crawford County Dairy Kick-Off Banquet was held Sunday, May 19, at the Eastman United Methodist Fellowship Hall, where the 2019 Crawford County Dairy Princess was crowned. The new princess is Regan Kramer, the 15-year-old daughter of Travis and Becky Kramer, who resides on a dairy and beef farm near Eastman.
Along with her upcoming duties of promoting quality dairy products, Regan is an active member of Wauzeka FFA, serving as president and the Happy Hi-Liters 4-H Club vice president. When not choring at her grandparents, Dale and Judy Cowell’s farm, you can find her milking cows at Hagensick Farms, and tending to her 4-H dairy, swine and beef projects at home. Regan is a member of the Wauzeka-Steuben National Honor Society, Crawford County 4-H, WI Junior Jersey Breeders Association, yearbook, Science Club, Crawford County State Dairy Team (president), Spanish club, band, math team, track and field, Crawford County State Dairy Cattle Judging and Dairy Quiz Bowl Team, Wauzeka FFA, basketball, Wauzeka trap team, cross country, Wisconsin Junior Holstein Association and serves as one of the editors of the school newspaper, “The Wauzeka Buzz.”
As the 2013-2014 Little Miss Squirt, she looks forward to spreading the news on the benefits of dairy products.
Lorelai Young is the new Crawford County Little Miss Squirt. Her parents are Harry and JoEllen Young, of rural Soldiers Grove. She is a third grader at North Crawford School and is sponsored by Wedeberg Farms Inc. She loves helping others so much that her family calls her their “Mother Hen.” Lorelai helps raise dairy bottle calves on her family beef farm, raises chickens and sells eggs with her older sister Ellaree and her younger brother Harry. Her favorite dairy breed is Jersey and her favorite dairy products are ice cream and yogurt.
Breckyn Schlee is the Little Miss Squirt attendant, the 9-year-old daughter of Brad and Melissa Schlee, of rural Eastman. She is a member of the Steuben River Runners 4-H Club, Shine Power Dance and the Seneca Girl Scouts. Breckyn says her passions in life are family, faith and farming. Her favorite part of farming is learning about the dedication it takes for her whole family to make their farm run smoothly. She loves attending the dairy breakfast and the county fair.
The newly-crowned dairy royalty’s first public appearance together will be greeting guests Saturday, June 1, from 6 to 10 a.m. at the Crawford County Dairy Breakfast, hosted by the Jody and Paulette Riley Family Farm, home of the current Alice in Dairyland Kaitlyn Riley. Riley Farms is located on County Highway W, just a mile off of Highway 61, near Mt. Zion.
