Barbara M. “Bonnie” Horsfall, 69, of Middleton, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019, in Madison following an extended illness.

She was born May 31, 1949, in Prairie du Chien, the daughter of Virgil and Mildred (Kussmaul) Bushnell. Bonnie was a strong woman of faith and she enjoyed her work for the Wisconsin Department of Revenue for 34 years. She loved swimming and working with ceramics.

She is survived by her son Jonathan (Kristin Hoffman) Horsfall of DeForest; her daughters Jennifer (Ryan) McCausland, of Oconomowoc, and Jill (Hans) Spielmann, of Madison; her twin brother, Tom Bushnell, of Middleton, and brother Chuck Bushnell, of Madison; her grandchildren, Jackson, Henry, Carly, Layla and Vera. 

She was preceded in death by her son Jeff; her parents; a brother, Ron; and her sister, Connie Esser.

Funeral services will be Monday, April 22, at 11 a.m. at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel in Prairie du Chien, Pastor Barb Cook officiating, with burial in the Hermitage Cemetery in Mt. Hope. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
