Katzung, Huser run at State Cross Country Meet

Prairie du Chien’s Megan Katzung, a sophomore, and Amber Huser, a senior, finished 35th and 44th, respectively at the Division 2 State Cross Country Meet at the Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids on Saturday.
Katzung ran a 6:09 first mile and was at 12:58 at the 2-mile mark. She had an overall pace of 6:32 and finished in a time of 20:17.6.
Huser had a pace of 6:36. She ran a 6:02 for the first mile and was at 12:51 after 2 miles. Huser finished in a time of 20:29.9 as she ended her high school cross country career.
Huser has earned a trip to the state meet for the past three years. Katzung has competed at state for two years in a row.
