Crestwood 

tops Prairie girls

Crestwood defeated host Prairie du Chien 70-43 in a nonconference girls basketball game Thursday, Dec. 21.

Crestwood built a 42-22 halftime lead and then outscored the Lady Blackhawks 28-21 in the second half.

Gabbie Ritchie led Prairie with 15 points. Macey Banasik netted 6. Ella Hager scored 6. Molly Mason tickled the twine for 5.

Prairie’s record is 3-6 overall and 1-2 in the Southwest Wisconsin Conference.

Prairie du Chien will next host River Valley on Jan. 5.
