Seneca volleyball has a strong year

Third-seeded Benton defeated top-seeded Seneca three games to none Thursday night in Belmont in a Division 4 volleyball sectional playoff match.

Benton won by scores of 25-15, 25-21 and 25-17 to end Seneca’s season.

Seneca finished with an 18-5 overall record. They were 5-0 in the Ridge and Valley to take the conference title.

Seneca also beat Southwestern on Oct. 21 to claim the regional championship.
