Bryce Jay Neverman, 71, of Guttenberg, died at the Guttenberg Care Center in Guttenberg on Saturday, May 13, 2017.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17, at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg. 

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.

Bryce was born on April 14, 1946, in Luana, the son of Arno “Gus” and Helen (Hinman) Neverman. Bryce was raised in the area, and attended Garnavillo High School with the class of 1964.

Bryce served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1965 until 1967, serving in Vietnam. 

On Nov. 18, 1967, Bryce was united in marriage to Marilyn “Mitz” Rodenberg. One daughter was born to this union. Together they resided in Guttenberg. They divorced in 1983. 

In July of 1989, Bryce married Diane Fox in Las Vegas, Nev. Together they lived in Springdale, Ark. They divorced in 2015 and Bryce moved back to Guttenberg.

Bryce worked 15 plus years for Kann Manufacturing in Guttenberg. While in Springdale, Ark., Bryce owned and operated his own business, Bryce’s White River Marine.

Bryce enjoyed fishing, hunting, motorcycle riding, and traveling to Mexico with his best friends, Rick and Mary Eulberg.

Survivors include one daughter, Lori Creery (Mark Herman) of Guttenberg; two grandchildren, Nicholas (Ramey) Creery of Waverly, and Libby Creery of Guttenberg; two sisters, Kayleen (Brian) Deeny and Penny Howard, both of Waukon; and seven nieces and nephews, Kelly (John) Lomas of Onalaska, Wis., Dustin (Tina) Deeny of Decorah, Karinne (Ryan) Hilgerson of Waukon, Dave (Amy) Howard of Waukon, Missy Meehan of Albertville, Minn., Stacey (Jason) Alexander of Nappanee, Ind., and Jeremy (Amy) Neverman of Wakarusa, Ind.

Bryce was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Ken Neverman.
