Darrel Lynn Borgen
Darrel Lynn Borgen, 67, of Boscobel (formerly of Eastman), died Wednesday, Oct. 19, at his home in Boscobel.
Darrel, the son of Willard and Hazel (Kramer) Borgen, was born May 2, 1949, in Prairie du Chien. Darrel worked at the Southwest Opportunity Center in Prairie du Chien for many years.
Darrel was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church in Eastman. He enjoyed collecting baseball and football cards; listening to music; and watching people, cars and trucks. He really looked forward to his three favorite holidays, his birthday, Christmas, and the Fourth of July celebration in Eastman. He was also a big fan of the Green Bay Packers, the Milwaukee Brewers, the Wisconsin Badgers and pro wrestling.
Darrel is survived by two brothers, Duane (Amy) Borgen, of Platteville, and Roger Borgen, of Eastman; two nephews, Cory (Aimee) Borgen and Dan (Monique) Borgen; three great nephews, Daniel, James, and George; and two great nieces, Gracie and Melody.
Darrel was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Hazel.
Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 24, at the Salem United Methodist Church in Eastman, Wisconsin with Rev. Lynn Shreck officiating. Friends may call 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 24, at the church. Interment will be held in the National Cemetery, Eastman.
