Bruce Moser
Bruce Moser, 66 of Guttenberg, passed away on Sept. 7, 2016, at the University of Iowa Hospital of a sudden illness surrounded by his family.
Visitation was Sunday, Sept. 11, at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg.
A private family inurnment will be at a later date.
Bruce was born on Sept. 5, 1950, in Guttenberg, the son of Clyde and Fern (Wachendorf) Moser.
Bruce served his country in the United States Army from 1969-1975, receiving a National Defense Service Medal. Bruce worked at John Deere Dubuque Works up until his retirement in 2003. In his spare time, Bruce loved farming for the Blume family. Farming was his passion.
Bruce met the love of his life, Gladys, and they were blessed with three daughters. Bruce had many interests. He enjoyed playing softball and coaching ladies league in his younger years, loved dancing, music, going to the Eagles Club, playing cards and being around family. He most enjoyed his children, grandkids and great grandkids.
Bruce will be forever loved and cherished by his daughters, Heidi (Rod) Bolsinger, Dusty (friend, George Morteo) Freeman, Samantha (Chris Weber) Moser; grandchildren, Brittany (Caleb VanSomeren) Bolsinger, Hunter, Kiley (Jennifer) Bolsinger, Bailey Bolsinger, Cassie (fiancé, Brandon Bolsinger) Moser, Callie and Chloe Freeman, Deserai, Danielle, Corey Weber, Kiya Moser-Weber; great-grandson, Kash and great-granddaughter, Paisley Bolsinger; siblings, Bev (L’Dean) Berns, Bill Moser, Bonnie (Paul) Pueltz, Robert (Barb) Moser, Becky (Stuart) Boyce and Brenda (Mike) Landwehr.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years; parents and in-laws.
