A 22-year-old Cedar Rapids, Iowa, woman has been charged in Crawford County Circuit Court with one count of possession of methamphetamine.

Daryn V. Harford faces up to a $10,000 fine and 3.5 years in prison if convicted.

According to the criminal complaint, a metal container containing meth and other items was seized from a vehicle following a traffic stop on Nov. 4 in the city of Prairie du Chien. The metal container was in a purple Crown Royal bag, which Harford admitted was hers. Harford also told investigators that the metal container contained drugs, the complaint said.
