On Oct. 24, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department was notified of a break in at the Pronto gas station in De Soto. The caller stated that the glass entrance door to the Pronto had been broken open. The caller advised that a brick was thrown through the window. It is estimated that $195 was taken from the business. This occurred between the hours of 10 p.m. on Oct. 23 and 1:27 a.m. on Oct. 24.
