Dwayne C. Mueller, 62, of Guttenberg died Saturday, July 25, 2015, at the Guttenberg Care Center, Guttenberg. 

Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg was in charge of arrangements.

Memorial services were Saturday, Aug. 1, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Guttenberg, conducted by Rev. Shane Anderson.

Dwayne was born on July 14, 1953, in Guttenberg to Marie and Dwayne Mueller. He graduated from West Dubuque High School and entered the Job Corps in Rapid City, S.D. He attended Area 1, Calmar, where he received a masonry degree. He was a self-employed carpenter and floor installer.

Dwayne married Dianna Bailey in 1976, later divorced. He enjoyed spending time with his family and beloved dogs, Lucky and Odie.

Those left to cherish Dwayne's memory are a daughter, Kari Meadows; two grandchildren, Carter and Kayge; siblings, Marie, Wanda, Cindy, Sue, Wyatt, Sara, and Robert.

Dwayne was preceded in death by his parents; son, Christopher; and brother, Jerry.
