Phyllis Mary Wille, 83, of Monona, died on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at the Guttenberg Care Center in Guttenberg.

Visitation was Thursday, July 2, at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Monona, Iowa and one hour before services at the church.

Funeral services were Friday, July 3, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Monona,  conducted by Rev. Daniel Knipper.

Burial followed in the St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Monona.

Phyllis Mary was born on Aug. 11, 1931, to Leo and Pauline (Diers) Hoeger in New Vienna. She attended St. Boniface Catholic School in New Vienna. 

Phyllis was united in marriage with Jerome Wille Sr. on Nov. 29, 1950, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in New Vienna. To this union, six children were born. Phyllis enjoyed gardening, sewing, canning, cooking, baking and cleaning. She loved spending time with her grandkids. Phyllis was a member of the Gooding Card Club, Catholic Daughters of America, St. Patrick Catholic Church Rosary Society and was a CCD teacher for over ten years.

Phyllis is survived by her children, Geraldine Wille of Monona, Robert (Shirley) Wille of Farmersburg, David (Lisa) Wille of Monona, Jerome (Angela) Wille Jr. of Dubuque, Ronald (Janie) Wille of Monona and Denise (Colm) Young of Monona; 15 grandchildren, Nicholas Hoffman, John Hoffman, Luke Hoffman, Ashley Wille, Tessa Wille, Stephanie (Jed) Jones, Andrew Wille, Kelly Wille, Samantha (Jon) Zuk, Jerome (Shedekia) Wille III, Elizabeth Wille, Jonah Wille, Jaron Wille, Jerica Wille and Magdalena Young; four great-grandchildren, Rylee Hoffman, Evelyn Jones, Sashane Wille and Jerome Wille IV; two sisters-in-law, Irene Hoeger and Marlene Hoeger; brother-in-law, Realto Wille and many nieces and nephews.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Wille Sr.; parents; grandson, Jordon Wille and her siblings, Harold, Cyril, Jean Friedman, LaVerne, Leo, William, Fredrick and Thomas.
