Prairie rallies to

beat Dodgeville

Prairie du Chien edged visiting Dodgeville 6-5 in an SWC softball game Tuesday afternoon.

Dodgeville scored 2 runs in the top of the second to go up 2-0.

The Dodgers scored 1 run in the top of the third, but the Lady Blackhawks scored twice in the bottom half to pull within 3-2.

Dodgeville scored 2 more runs in the fourth to increase their lead to 5-2.

Prairie scored a run in the sixth and 3 more in the bottom of the seventh to gain the victory.

Lauren Nicholson fanned 6 and walked 6 while giving up 5 hits to earn the win.

Prairie du Chien had 9 hits in the contest. Kelsey Achenbach hit a single, a homer and had 4 RBI.
