Leonard Lynn Ward passed away peacefully, Monday March 2, at the age of 85 years. Leonard was a life-long resident of Crawford County residing in Steuben, Eastman and Prairie du Chien. 

He was the beloved father of Marsha (Jeff) Everson, Beverly (Cliff) Hitz, Anita (George) Wachuta, Nancy (Jeff) Wetter, Andy (Sheryl) Ward and Randy (Kris) Ward; and cherished grandfather to Kelly Everson, Mike (Kim) Everson, Heather (Joe) Majerus, Megan Rice, Amanda Wachuta, Matt Wachuta, Angie (Shawn) Stluka, Jeff Wetter, Tory Wetter, Mitchell Ward, Jamison Ward, Rachel Ward and Brenden Ward. He was great grandfather to Aiden, Bralen and Zuri Everson, Lucas Kastner-Majerus, Kylie Majerus and Shaedyn Lane-Majerus, Zoe, Hallie and Reis Stluka, and Aubryanna Wetter, the dear brother of Ruth (Fritz) Reiger; brother-in-law of Pat (Larry) Ward. 

Leonard was preceded in death by parents Walter and Sadie Ward; toddler son Michael Ross Ward; brothers, LaVon (Shorty), William, Ronald, Neil and Larry; sisters, Betty Ward, Lucille (Pete) Ritchie, Faye (Lewis) Roth and Mildred (Alton) Fortney. 

Friends may call from 12 to  2 p.m. Saturday, March 7 at Kendall Funeral Services, Inc., 209 Mary Street Boscobel, WI. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. with light lunch at the Tuffley Center following the service. 

A private interment will be held in the Boscobel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations appreciated to Alzheimer’s Association or Epione Pavilion in Cuba City, WI.
