Woman injured in one-car crash on Highway 35
On Saturday, Jan. 2 at approximately 1:27 a.m., the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department received a report of a one-vehicle crash on Highway 35 near County Road D in the township of Eastman.
Robert K. Moberg, 57, McGregor, was operating a 1999 Mercedes Benz southbound on Highway 35 when he lost control of the vehicle due to slippery conditions and crossed into the northbound lane before striking the concrete retaining wall. Moberg was able to regain control of the vehicle and safely maneuver it back to the southbound shoulder of the highway. Moberg’s passenger Cynthia Moberg, 61, McGregor, complained of chest pain at the scene and was transported by Tri State Ambulance to Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie du Chien. Robert Moberg did not appear to have any injuries and the vehicle sustained moderate damage.
